We did our usual cabin camping at our favorite Jellystone park prior to the 4th, had a great time. Used to do a lot of cast iron cooking in the fire, partially to carry on the tradition but also because I do like it. Do not like the extra prep and clean up though.
So now doing gas cooking, and it's so much easier. Cooked burgers, dogs, and steaks on the Weber Go-Anywhere. Then scrambled eggs, peppers & onions, breakfast sausages, and coffee on a Coleman Camp Grill.
Drink was Bulleit Old Fashioned pre-mixed Cocktail. Very good.
