cajun pimp kit question

Hey Fellas, I am looking into getting the Cajun pimp kit mostly for the door and the rotisserie. I was wondering how the rotisserie works with the 22.5 wsm. Can you put the extension with rotisserie right on the wsm without the center section. So it would just be the lower level the rotisserie extension and the lid. This way you could get direct heat. Will it fit? Is it necessary? Is it to close to coals? Any thoughts?

Sean the rotisserie ring will fit on the wsm charcoal bowl. I cooked a sirloin tip roast using this method. Just take out the charcoal ring and bank your coals to one side. The only drawback is working height imo. You are either cooking on the ground or have to find a table to raise.
