Burger time!

Didn't thaw anything for dinner last Friday night, so I grabbed a package of vacuum sealed burgers for a quick dinner. Seasoned with kosher salt, cracked pepper & gaaahlic. Grilled 'em up quickly for a few minutes on each side while the budget committee sliced up some homemade fries.

No action pics, but here they are resting before eatin' time.

Here's your plate. Fries were as good as the burgers, as she fried 'em in canola oil twice and sprinkled on a little kosher salt.

apparently we need to go to the store, because we are missing most of the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" toppings for burgers. Having dinner ready in < 40 minutes isn't bad, and was a nice recovery from a lack of dinner planning. Good to have a plan B just in case!

thanks for looking.

You don't need to go to the store in my book. All I need as part of my burger are meat, cheese, and bun. Pickle and ketchup if I'm feeling adventurous.

It looks like a great meal to me.

I'd sit down to that plate of burger and fries any day, Jim!

Not much beats a good ol' grilled burger!
