Brown 22" Weber

I picked up a very nice brown 22" Weber on Craigslist for $15, just wondering how old it actually was. (I wanted to attach a picture but can't figure out how) Thanks.

Thanks Scott, I just checked all 4 dampers and don't see any letter stamped on them. Must be pre-1979. So I can call Weber and give them the serial number to find out?

First off, welcome and congrats on your score.
Does it have Steel or Wood handles on the bowl?
If they're steel and the lid vent is stamped with "pat. pending" is a pre Nov. 1970.
If it has the Pat. Num. then it was made after that date. I have one made around 1977.
Weber CS should be able to tell you when the last year a "Brownie" was made.
As for posting pics I find Picasa to be the easiest for me.
