This recipe is based off of a Cooks Illustrated recipe. Comes out a little dense but pretty nice overall.

Beer Batter Cheese Bread
Ingredients
8 ounces Smoked Cheddar cheese (4 oz shredded and 4 oz cut into cubes)
3 Cups Bread flour
1 Tablespoons Sugar
4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
2 Teaspoons Pepper
1 Beer (I used a basic pilsner)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Combine cheeses, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pepper in large bowl.
- Stir in beer and mix until well combined.
- Pour into loaf pan, spreading batter to corners. Drizzle melted butter evenly over top of batter.
- Bake until deep golden brown and tooth pick inserted into center comes out clean, about 45 to 50 minutes.
