BBQ Yogurt Wings

BBQ Yogurt Wings

18 chicken wings
1 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
2 tsp. finely chopped chives
1 1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ground ginger
3/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. sesame seeds
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 cup lime yogurt
1 stick butter, melted
3 TB. pure maple syrup

1. Preheat grill to medium high (350F to 400F).
2. Cut wings in half.
3. In a wide, flat dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, chives, salt, ginger, paprika, sesame seeds and cayenne pepper.
4. In a deeper wide dish, mix together the yogurt, butter and maple syrup
5. Place the two dishes side by side. Dip each wing section into the yogurt, then the crumbs, making sure the wings are well coated.
6. Place the wings on a broiler rack in a large roasting pan.
7. Bake in the grill for 15 minutes, then turn the wings and bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer, or until they are browned and tender.

Now the story of the 3rd set of wings. That's just it, I DON'T know the story. All I know is that by the time the 1st and 2nd set of wings were ready, DH said these were not. Never got around to tasting them.

Oh, and yes, the mac and cheese were very good.!!!
 
Around here, Wed. is "clean out the refrig. night". Yes, a lot of left-over wings. lol

These are the ones DH was looking forward to trying. He's the yogurt eater in the family. lol
