does one really need a back burner to turn out good rotiss chicken ? or is the rgular burners good enough ? thanks,

George,I don't have a rotisserie for my Genesis,but the ECB I had before had a dedicated roti burner. I was gonna do a chicken one night,and because of the several suds I'd had,forgot how to light the roti burner(it kept going out!) So,I just used the two outside burners and the chicken turned out nicely! So,it's not absolutely neccessary. In fact,the Genesis I have doesn't have a roti burner,but a roti is available. HTH

I have the Weber rotis for my Genesis and love it. I just use the 2 outside burners and leave the middle one off. All you have to do is take the cooking grates off so the chicken can spin freely.
