any one know the P/N or model type I should be looking for when trying to purchase the ash bucket that is all silver and not black??? I want to add that to my maroon 22"OTS. I saw one on the trading post that had one and it looks really nice with it.
Thanks for any help.
Ken

Weber no longer makes them in Silver, so you will probably have to find one on eBay.

The place below also sells the ash catcher ring, which is seperate, to support the ash bucket.

Note: Weber® now only provides the buckets in black. In the past they were "washed" aluminum. The handle is steel. It will NOT fit an 18.5 inch kettle grill (see related items for those) or Smokey Joe! Because people replace the bucket & handle more often they are ordered separately from the ring. See related items, below for the ring. 92981 is two Weber® parts (we get them as two parts #60803 (handle) and #63037 black bowl). This is a special parts order item. As of April 2011 Weber® has been getting orders to us in less than two weeks if they have them in stock. (The washed aluminum set 86436 is #60801 with the 82205 #90467 washed aluminum bowl - no longer available.)

they switched back to the unfinished bucket this year.

My 2012 26.75 OTG came with a silver/aluminum ash bucket. I believe it's the exact same one as the 22.5 OTG.

Yeah weber reverted back to bare aluminum cans starting this model year (2012). You can do what I did and strip one of the black ones to bare silver if you've got about 6 hours, a can of Jasco and a scraper and some rubber gloves. Oh and dont forget a pack of smokes and about 10 beers!! Figures that Weber would do this the spring after i took the time to strip mine.

I ordered a new ash can assembly a couple of weeks ago. The rep. said she couldn't specify whether I'd get a black or silver can, but I did get a silver one (which is what I was hoping for).
