ArborFab Basket and hot and fast heat.

Has anyone used the Arbor Fab basket long term while cooking with hot n fast type temperatures long term? Im wondering how well the thinness of the metal used in the basket handles the heat? I noticed mine was glowing red last night while I was running my WSM around 375 degrees for about an hour with lump charcoal.
 
I've made a lot of hot and fast chicken using mine and I've never considered any problems.

Cannot say long term but I can say mine has stood up to 2 years of heavy use - seems as sturdy as ever.
