Anyone know what a Fireboard is?


 
I don't think a controller would have helped that. I think much of the issues were of a design nature. I also can't help but if Weber had come out right from the get go and simply said to use a sheet pan under long cooking foods much of the issues could have been averted and then the little "niggling" things like the feed ramp, and a couple other things could have been solved right off
The major problems I had with my EX4 was that it reported the correct temp but in reality had up to 100° temp swings high and low. Then the problem of flameouts and filling the bottom with pellets.
