I'd like to use the Q200 for making bacon, pancakes, hash browns, etc. I saw the Weber ones online but I think they are pricey/discontinued. Does anyone use a 3rd party griddle that is large enough to fit the whole area of the Q grill?

I have the correct Weber griddle among my large collection of cast iron objects. I don't like it very much for my Q220. The sides are too low for making eggs. Bacon grease runs over the side. I like it better for use in a kettle than the Q. I am not as fussy about keeping kettles as clean as I like to keep my Q. It also works great as a heat sink for longer cooks.
First of all, the Q's are slightly oval in nature. You will have a hard time fitting that perfectly. Second, you cannot cover too much grill surface, because too much coverage will impede air flow. You need airflow to keep the propane lit. That's why the Weber griddle is {or was} only designed for half the surface.
I would suggest at looking at 1 or 2 simple round skillets or griddles.
I have a collection of cast iron griddles and have used them on the Q 200's and Q 300's. With great results if allowed to come up to temp. Like Darrel says, don't try to cover all of the Q grill space, they need room to allow the heat to come up instead of possibly causing overheating. As for bacon, I usually use a paper towel and tongs to absorb the excess grease while cooking.
