Anyone have the Weber Plancha?


 
I have the plancha and searing grate. Work great for me. Didn't do any formal seasoning.

Edit, sorry I have the gourmet series for me kettle.

I purchased a cast iron skillet for my gas grill a few years back. It was a decent size - it fit 1/2 of my 3 burner grill with a perfect fit - great for bacon and eggs. $25 at the store in Scottsdale. It was reversible - one side was all flat and the other side was half flat, half grill. I don't remember the brand, but it wasn't $90.

Just did a search on Amazon and you can find them as low as $35 there.

I have the griddle for my Genesis. It replaces one of the grates and I use it about once a week and love the thing.
