Any thoughts, tips or whatever on switching from Weber gas to Weber Q2400 electric?

Because of apartment move, can only have electric. And I've already bought it, together with the stationary stand (portable stands are mindless for a 110v. electric grill I think) (and not all that sturdy either - OTOH, Weber wheeled but heavy duty stand, similar to one on Q3200 (which is gas, I know), is very sturdy. Anyway, grill times are longer, and searing only really happens on first cooked side, but I'm adapting. Anything to offer?

The Q140/240 are decent little grills (even on their own right) they do a better job than many gas grills but they have their own learning curve. I have a 140 and it works pretty well. I really don't use it very often. Gave it to my dad for awhile but he didn't use it. So I took it home. Though I don't find a whole lot of use for it. If I was forced than I'd obviously use it much more since I do grill every day
