Any idea what kind of rim this is?

I had a flat on the boat trailer out in the middle of no where and didn’t have a spare.
It was one miserable day to say the least.
Rained really hard and I had my dogs with me too.
It was also somewhat of an expensive day putting my boat trailer on the tow truck which my AAA wouldn’t cover and then to the tire store for a new tire.

I’m now looking for a spare tire setup for my boat.
I’m probably going to flip this boat but I’d hate to have the new owner get the same type of day I had.

It looks like an old VW beetle wheel but all of the old VW hoarder type guys here say it is not.
I could replace the axel but that is a bit much.

So please let me know if you know anything about this wheel like where to order one🙏.
Thanks in advance and here are some pics.

Andy, I've seen those on REALLY old stuff. I'll lay odds they're a thing of the past. Honestly you will have better luck simply buying some new hubs and bearing sets along with some modern wheels and new rubber. Harbor Freight, or a Farm & Fleet type place will have exactly what you need to bring that trailer out of the 19th century

I was thinking the same about upgrading the wheels to a common bolt pattern. Complete axles are not that expensive. 5 on 4.5 is a very common trailer wheel bolt pattern.

This is a 3500lb axle, but its less expensive than a 2000 lb.

edit: and wheels. Looks like you have 185/75 car tires in the picture. I've used car tires on a trailer before but trailer tires track a lot better.

I'd call around and see if any trailer shops have a used combo deal.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking that those were a thing of the past but that link looks like it might have them.
It’s a shame he chose those for the trailer.
The rest is a nice custom stainless systems
