Any good BBQ places in Johnson City, TN?

My daughter is on her way to East Tennessee State University for five months (exchange student from a University in Norway), any good BBQ places to recommend? Also, do you have suggestions of rubs etc to send/bring back to her dad for the summer BBQ ;) And which shop sells them?

Ridgewood Barbecue was my go to when I used to be in that area every couple months or so. Fair warning, their sandwiches are huge
 
I know, gotta love this forum!!!!!! Can't you just feel the warmth!!!!! I am beginning to sound like a broken record, (haven't heard that phrase in a long time lol). THANKS CHRIS!!!!!
 
We went to school there 40 years ago. When to Ridgewood a time or two. Our go to was Hog Heaven which upscaled to the House of Ribs. They are closed now.
Let us know what she finds.
