Another ng to lp question

Still trying to figure out the best way to convert my summit s-670 from ng to lp. I just read somewhere i don't need to change the orifices if i just buy an adjustable regulator, is this true?

No, you will need the orifices. I am converting a Summit Gold D6 and in the same position.

^+1 short answer is no. You need orifices. The nice thing about the Summit is they don't have fixed valves. They are continuously variable. So a simple orifice change will do the trick. The only Summit grills this does not hold true for is the first generation ones. Those used the same valves as the Genesis grills
