Alarm is working, Buzzer not

After reading every post considering alarms and the buzzer I´m still not getting it.

When I set an alarm and the setpoint is achieved the display starts to flash and the pit temp is adjusted. No alarm script is configured. But now there is just one question: Should the buzzer start to buzz just from this scenario?

The question form different users has been left unanswered before, so please, a simple point into the right direction would help.
 
Sorry guys, but I´m lmao. After I attached the fan (and realising my idea running everything through an USB Powerbank ist just suppose to fail) AND the 12V instead of the 5V the first thing that came to my ears was the alarm going off. Stupid me, but hopefully this will save someone later on worrying to much.
