A good friend just moved to a new abode

And I'm going over to their new place for the first time on Saturday.

Everyone thinks that I should take over a nice bottle of wine as a house warming present, but I'm thinking otherwise.

They moved because their kids are out of the house and it's almost retirement time. I'm thinking that instead of a bottle of nice wine maybe I should show up with a
Smokey Joe Silver. After all, they have an old gasser, and we all know that charcoal rules.

It's going to be just the two of them in the new place so what do you guys all think? A wine bottle that will be gone in one night or a SJS?
