No, I haven't found any on sale but was just wondering if Amazon ever has a sale on them or am I just having wishful thinking? Last year, sometime in June, they had the WSM's on sale and that's when I bought my 22.5. Just hoping.

Anything under $150 would be a really sweet deal, because shipping would keep you under $200 (and Weber would warranty any defects if it's a 2012 model).

Whether or not this is an issue would depend on the individual user and their abilities, but given the size and weight of the lid, it would be nice if the 26 had a second handle on the front. I do like the fact that the top handle screws into two precut holes in the lid on the 2012 models (maybe the same with others as well). Should reduce (or eliminate) the typical rusting we see at the spot welds on the smaller models.
