I am trying to get my sideburner to fire up but so far no luck. The main grill works fine, however when I bought the grill the sideburner was not connected so I have no idea when the last time it functioned.
I took the sideburner unit off and blew air through it with the valve open and I can feel very faint pressure through the orifice. I'm not sure if it is flowing properly or is slightly restricted but I figure gas should get through and I should be able to ignite it.
I suspect the issue lies in the main manifold. I wonder if there is a way to troubleshoot the female quick connect unit on the main manifold to see if that is where the problem is. Am I way off base with my troubleshooting so far?
Sideburner parts seem pretty scarce, anybody have an alternative remedy for getting their old sideburner back in action?
Thanks!
Mick
