Agreed. Appears to be a later Gen 1 with the aforementioned wrinkles. I’m not sure that it adds any intrinsic value to the grill being a Gen 1 unless you’re doing a museum type piece, though. Otherwise, it’s just another used grill the first time you cook on it (albeit with a bit of history to brag to your buddies about). There’s a limited number of folks on here doing full restorations to begin with and even fewer of us that have any sort of restored, not-in-use pieces in our collection. In my weakest moment and, if it were located less than an hour or two away instead of cross country, I’d probably throw a bill and half at it.
