13lb Prime Rib Roast

Had 20 friends and kids over for a pool party Saturday and I cooked a great meal. 13lb prime rib roast with an herb crust, warm greek potato salad with a lemon vinaigrette, peach, mint and buffalo mozzarella salad (Jamie Oliver's recipe its awesome), grilled asparagus, homemade pesto on tomatoes, Webers red wine sauce for the meat, creamed horseradish. No plated pics since one of the guests brought his martini shaker and I will lucky to get dinner served with no catastrophes!! Took the meat off the bbq at 122 degrees and let it rest for half an hour.

Things got hectic as I was flying solo in the kitchen and trying to get a lot of food onto platters. Next cook I will try to go a little camera heavy!

The meat was medium rare and the only person who wanted well done grabbed both outside end cuts (the bastard!).
