knobs

The burner control knobs on my weber genesis 1000 are sticking a bit. What's the best way to lubricate those 3 controls? I know it's been discussed somewhere but I can't find it.

I was cleaning the grill today and recalled how unimpressed I am with the knobs. The paint is starting to come off and the plastic just looks cheap on an otherwise very nice looking grill. Are there any custom replacemet knobs in chrome or stainless steel with engraved markings? I think that...
