Was viewing the Weber US website today and noticed the WGA gaser has what appears to be a new propane valve on it. It appears to now have two dials....I assume the small one on top is used to cut the flow of gas if the primary dial fails, though this is just me speculating. Anyone have any info on this?

Well, that is interesting. The eariler european version had two valves. One was an off on valve. The other was the std regulator. Safety I suppose. Will be interesting to see what this is. Most likely some dumb safety device. We can drive cars at incredible speeds but we can't turn on a gas grill.

Ok, I saw a new regulator the other day.
not exactly as pictured but it had a red button sticking out. Evidently weber has changed the design of the older regulator. The old one you had to push in and turn. Evidently this was to difficult for some folks. Evidenced by a few damaged/broken knobs I have seen. Now you just push the red button down and then turn the knob. At least that is what I have seen so far.
