I just received my new Genesis S 330. I am anxious to start Grilling right away, but i wanted to see if there is anything i should do first to prep the grill in terms of longevity.
1. Do i need to season the grates? If so, how?
2. Should i add any sort of material (rocks, etc) underneath of the burners? It just looks bare, and i didnt know if lava rocks or some sort of ceramic material would be beneficial.
3. Anything else?
I have been using charcoal exclusively when i picked up a performer a few years back, and i am just gett ing back into the gas side of things. The last time i used gas i had ceramic tiles underneath of the burners, but i do not even know where i would place them on my new grill. Thanks.
