rotisserie on a Summit

I have a heck of a time getting it to light. I think I follow the instructions. Press in for 10 seconds or so, turn to ignite, and continue to hold.

Am I going it incorrectly?
 
Are you getting any flame at all? Sounds like you are doing it right. I have had some issues with mine that I could not get a spark and I ended up lighting it manually with a lighter. No issues staying lit.
 
Had the same issues with mine, hadn't used it for a while, kept holding it after it was lit, took a while.
 
I think one is supposed to hold in for 10 seconds prior to attempting to ignite and then continue to hold after spark.

I have always been able to get it lit, but usually I have to try, turn everything off, leave it for 5 minutes and then do it again and it will work.

It shouldn't be that difficult.
