In honor of my father in law and one of the best friends a person could have.

Doll's Rub

1/4 c sugar
1/3 c kosher salt
1/3 c onion granulated
1/3 c gran. garlic
1/4 c black pepper
1 ancho pepper roasted
2 guajillo peppers roasted
1 T alleppo
2 t fennel seed
2 t cumin seed
2 t celery seed
1 t bay (about three leaves)
1 t cinnamon
1 t allspice

Your new rub sounds very good, Steve. Anything special that do you like to use it on?

Rita, just tried it on Pork Tenderloins tonight. It just melded right in. I was distracted with stuff going on but the good news is the rub did not become front and center, in fact I forgot I was using a new one. It worked it's magic quietly. I kind of like that.
 
Thanks for posting, Steve. I particularly like the fennel addition for pork tenderloin.
