    Roadside find - Genesis E320 -2009 sidewinder

Thinks its an AU thing - most of the models I have seen have the gas tank on the side or are just Natural gas

    Roadside find - Genesis E320 -2009 sidewinder

If it cleans up nice may look to sub it in for my everyday cooker from this one instead (Spirit) - obviously this Genesis is the bigger and better model https://tvwbb.com/threads/weber-spirit-e-320-early-model-side-burner.90702/post-1031760 Just considering whether to take the better upgrade...

    Roadside find - Genesis E320 -2009 sidewinder

It’s a Lpg - AU model - GENESIS E-320 LP BLK (2009) (AU) and the flames are nice and even/blue and low so doesn't seem to be have been converted. Just to clear up a few points - I subbed in the gas hose (off a donor grill) as it was missing completely and the gas tank is a smaller one that we...

    Roadside find - Genesis E320 -2009 sidewinder

Came across a roadside find recently - Finally had some time today to give a quick clean up and fit a replacement lighter (it was the only thing wrong on it). The insides need some more work but overall pretty happy with it being for free.

    Indirect on Silver A genesis

Yes these are a bit tricky to do indirect due to their small size so tried the Weber q method with 2 foil and trivet sets. Smoked off a batch of chicken sausages that came out pretty great!

Genesis Silver A B C conversion to charcoal

Yes have seen these - do you put foil down under it to catch the ash - that the main feedback concern on it from reading on Amazon

Genesis Silver A B C conversion to charcoal

Yep - and it works! With Weber and things being made with dimensions that seem to be interchangeable a Go Anywhere will fit exactly inside a earlier 3 burner Genesis or Spirit. The legs slip through the grates exactly and rest on the flavourers so its lower down, vertical and a better height for...

Genesis Silver A B C conversion to charcoal

Yes have a kettle and too many little ones - just like the idea of an an all in one and the convenience of using the gas to get the coals going. The tubes were all protected/covered and I ditched the coals when done.

Genesis Silver A B C conversion to charcoal

Still experimenting with charcoal / gas combinations. Tried this in my Silver A with just a tray of coals on the left resting on the flavourizers. Got some nice char and smoke on some kebabs as a test
