This thread is so important, as I have just finished restoring a Q320 that was in deplorable condition, original porcelain grates so rusted I bought new Quilimetal CI grates and seasoned the heck out of them. Thanks RichDahl for the advise on seasoning new ones. Got me motivated do spring clean...

I have a rectangular ss box that I now use in the Q mini. Fill with chips and it works pretty good. No mess as all the stuff stays in the box. I kept some traeger pellets to use in it but haven't yet. Takes up 1/3 of the Q grate but they I'm only doing 2 burgers.

I've been guilty trying to do the same with my Q320. Cleaning it up and trying to fix sparker issue.

Great price for one, too bad its cross country from me. Jon, you should use your, then clean it up like Tom Horseman does with all his grills. His look immaculate.

My Dad had to watch his sugar as well, and both liked and tolerated the Jello . Liked the vanillas and they used to have a key lime back in the day.

With my performer I don't need one either. And now I've added another Q to the stable-never thought I'd have a collection. But they cook nice with CI grates, and I hope to find out as soon as I overhaul the 3200. Never got around to ordering a killa grilla and wish I had, but I have the Weber...

Bruno, thats a good question. I quickly watched all the videos again, and reviewed the online material. They 'Look' like CI, and the listed weight is up there (150) for the unit, but who knows. You'd think they'd advertise as such.
