If you have the 'alarm on lost connection' set and a pit temp alarm or meat alarm set, you can't close the app when there is a lost connection. eg open the app when you have your heatermeter unplugged, and you can't close the app. The close button in the notification area just keeps reopening...

Anyone? I've had to go into settings, apps, and force close the app when I tried it out.

I had that issue. Tried deleting everything, etc. nothing worked. Same issue - Mac address all 00's. Gave up and got an antennaless Edimax.
