Searwood has been well received here in the US , most people who have them love them. Searwood is what should have been Weber first pellet grill. I can't imagine a major issue with them in the UK unless it's a power voltage/wattage issue.

Supposedly the charcoal pellets burn hotter than wood pellets and will mess with the algorithm of the controller

180-500 temp range. Rep @ Weber that I've made buddies with since my SF issues and eventual SW purchase, told me he grilled burgers and brats on it and it came out great. I think the intention is to go after some of the lower entry market smokers use. Pit boss and Traeger

New pellet grill. Looks similar to the Searwood. It's not being marketed as Searing capable. I believe temps are 176-500. Heard the are some internal changes that sets it apart from the SW. $899 for the XL , $699 for the regular size.

Hope you can figure it out for the future. I smoked some burgers last night here in NJ. Grill started up and showed a temp of 15 degrees, which is not nearly close to your -20 !!!! She ran like a champ though.

The flashing through the 1 2 3 4 that are labeling numbers for your probes is supposed to happen after the grill software is updated. I think your stuck in an update. It once happened to me and I needed a new controller

Smoked till 120 degrees. Then raised the SW XL to 600 and seared it for three minutes on each side. This time I used the flat side of the grill grates. Came out awesome. Only referred I had was having to share it...... Keep on Smokin

That's why they make different size sand boxes, so more people can play.

Having everyone over for dinner tonight. Made two chickens on the SW rotisserie. Came out awesome !! Took a bite out of one of the white quarters and couldn't stop till finished it off. Also for all those doubting the SW holding temp.. check out the pics, Thermoworks Brand New RFX meat wireless...

Too big a hassle and besides I think the SF is worth more in parts than the whole grill. That's why I got the Searwood

Replaced with a Searwood XL. Have no use for it except to try to recoup some $$

Smoked on the SW with Smokeboost till 120 internal temp. Then raised SW till 600 degreees , seared for 3 minutes on each side.. Soooo delicious

The SW is so much better then the SF. My SF just ended it's warranty and I was able to get a Searwood. Ran it last week for 19 hours straight, smoked a lamb shoulder and my neighbor asked me to smoke three briskets for a party she was making. Ran smooth, no pellet voids , cleanup was a breeze...
