10 years? Excellent. Like the rest of weber products some simple care and they will last.
I used a wheel barrel on the slate patio, but when it got hot the slate exploded sending hot pieces of rock flying at your face.

I bought the floor model of this discontinued product. I was debating to build a nice stone fire pit area but went with portability and low cost. Can't believe how expensive the fire pits are, even a crappy one by no name is $109.
I have the same Avacado, 22 1/2" steel wheel w/ rubber, Patent pending on vent, two rivet handle.

Got the 250 model and did not realize it comes with a Tinnerman Clip vs. threads and nut to secure to lid.
