David, Although I can appreciate where you come from and believe me personally I do, as a company we have regulations and standards we have to adhere too. It is not a matter of cost it is a matter of safety. Although I appreciate your enthusiasm and excitement believe me if we could we would...

When will Weber make a Pellet Grill/Smoker

John, Interesting point you bring up here John. Having a grill that has been the staple in the backyard for over 60 years of legendary cooking I think speaks for itself. Times changes, fuel changes and a Weber still keeps on grilling. Kk

    Gas or Charcoal?

Rob, The 27 cookers I have, 19 of them are charcoal and 8 of them are gas. I prefer grilling over gas when cook times are less than 20 minutes. I love consistency and when grilling, gas will always give you that. Anything over 20 minutes I prefer charcoal. That being said there is nothing...

    Favorite beverage while grilling

Mike, Well it depends on what I am grilling, bbq'ing or smoking. I love a nice glass of bourbon when I am smoking and love a nice cold beer when grilling. Right now I have New Glarus (Spotted Cow) and Laganitas IPA on draft. I also enjoy Goose Island 312, Yuengling and Sam Adams Boston Lager...

    Just Desserts

Darrel, One of my favorite desserts that is great for large groups is stuffed bananas. I slice the banana in half while it is in the peel. Do not cut through the peel. Then load in fresh fruit, chocolate chips and marshmallows. Back for 6-8 minutes on a medium heat. I love this dessert...

Temp diffs from lid to cooking grate

S.Six Have not heard of these kind of issues occurring continually with someone using a bullet. Although, the amount of food, water and excess build up on the smoker can cause temperature fluctuation these seem a little out of the ordinary. Weather can also cause temperature differences inside...

    Using "other" grills

Chad, I have an extensive background with many of the products out on the market today. Always fun to see how "others" do things. I really enjoy grilling on all types of products because you learn how people design and produce products. To me it's not just grilling its an experience and that...

    18.5" wsm water pan

Mike, Great question. I actually think this helps with keeping and maintaining temperatures inside the smoker. You have to be patient getting the smoker up to temperature but I have found this pan does allow you to smoke for 14-16 hours with minimal adjustments. Kk

Brian, I started out working for Weber 13 years ago. I had a summer internship with the company for the 6 years I was pursuing my degrees. Once done with school I was offered a position and the rest they say is history. It has been the most rewarding job ever and I am truly the luckiest man...
