We just finished our KCBS Barbecue Competition Season last weekend. Making the boxes… Prepping the chicken Our chicken turn in box Ribs are on! Almost ready… Send them! We placed 2nd in Chicken, 2nd in Ribs, and were the Reserve Grand Champion!

We competed in a rib competition yesterday in Chillicothe, IL with a combination of KCBS Backyard and Master Series teams! We placed a respectable 12th out of 19 teams in the first dip and got a 4th Place call out of 18 in the second. Below are a few pics from the event.

We got a 2nd Place Call in Ribs, and with our 13th Place Chicken, we finished 4th Overall out of 26 talented teams!

We finally made it to the KCBS 180 Club! We are proud to have been acknowledged at the same time as our friends Paulo with Justice BBQ out of Costa Rica and Schmidty with Loot’N Booty BBQ out of Arizonal!

It’s a good day when you hear your name called 4 times! We finished 10th in Chicken, 7th in Ribs, 1st in Best Dish with a 180 and 6th Place Overall out of 40 talented teams!

Now that we are unpacked from Tennessee; it’s time to repack for Wisconsin! We are competing in the Friday night Rib Burn at 7 PM on June 7th and the double competitions on the 8th & 9th!

We are proud to announce that we are now representing Team Smoker Builder out of Kansas City! Just finished the base coat on the new drums. You know what’s coming next… The Too Sauced Guys Flames 🔥 and Bling!!!

I will competing in the rib challenge portion of this event on this Saturday 3/2 in Van Dyne,WI against 51 talented teams! The good news is it is forecasted to be 63°!… So not so frozen!
