Looks like you are not the administrator on your machine. You have to login using that account to be able to make that change. Alternatively, just wait a few days and I will see if I can post the version which doesn't require this.

These are the only reports I have seen of this problem. Can you tell me which model and revision of the stoker firmware you have? As others have mentioned, the update does require hitting F5 or Refresh in the menu. So that part is "by design."

I ran an Ethernet jack to my garage and use a wired connection to the stoker. Nice and reliable. Wifi that far out from my access point and outside would have been problematic anyway. It might cheaper to run the feed than buying a whole new system.
