Why do people continue to use my Weber Flame picture? Can't they use one of their own? Makes me think that theirs is not in the greatest of condition.

I got mine from a local hardware store but the ones Bruce pointed out are probably much cheaper but you typically have to buy in bulk to offset the Shipping cost.

I had a couple of Weber's that use the thumb screws. I used a torch to lighly heat the cookbox around the screws and a pair of Vice Grips. Worked like a charm.

That is a Platinum II model with the larger frame. I'd say someone did some cobbling together with that older pinstriped lid and that newer propane tank scale.

I soak mine in Lacquer Thinner overnight. Lighly sand, the clean with Prep-Sol before painting with several coats of high heat paint.
After drying I use a sanding block with 80-120 grit sandpaper.

I like the older "rubberized" Weber covers for my classic Webers.
For my Junior, I am using Weber # 9855.
It is made for the Silver A/ 500 models so it is a tad too large but not too bad.
