Why do people continue to use my Weber Flame picture? Can't they use one of their own? Makes me think that theirs is not in the greatest of condition. Jeff

That feeling when you know what is about to happen next will be amazing....

I got mine from a local hardware store but the ones Bruce pointed out are probably much cheaper but you typically have to buy in bulk to offset the Shipping cost. Jeff

1993 Genesis 1000 Manifold Thumb Screws

I had a couple of Weber's that use the thumb screws. I used a torch to lighly heat the cookbox around the screws and a pair of Vice Grips. Worked like a charm. Jeff

I will just leave this here

Bruce, That is a Platinum II model with the larger frame. I'd say someone did some cobbling together with that older pinstriped lid and that newer propane tank scale. For reference, this is a Platinum I: Jeff

    Refinishing Weber Emblem

I soak mine in Lacquer Thinner overnight. Lighly sand, the clean with Prep-Sol before painting with several coats of high heat paint. After drying I use a sanding block with 80-120 grit sandpaper. Jeff

Know what grill this frame is for?

Could also be a frame for a 2000/2001 Genesis Gold as they share the same frame as the late 90's Platinum II's. Jeff

Best cover for a Weber JR.?

I like the older "rubberized" Weber covers for my classic Webers. For my Junior, I am using Weber # 9855. It is made for the Silver A/ 500 models so it is a tad too large but not too bad. Jeff
