Awesome. My wife just made this this week. What kind of artichokes did you use. I found some great frozen ones at Trader Joe's. I find them a lot better than the canned ones but TJ's is very far and do not get there often.

Is that because of the time or gas? I live pretty rural these days (looking to move) and retired so that seems to be about normal. I put a hitch with cargo rack on the Prius so gas is not too much of an issue. Those large Vikings and such lay down nice in the Sienna with a much lower lift...

These "high end" grills have been my best money makers. The Alfresco one sold in a week sight unseen. This took quite a bit longer. It would have sold for $1000 but he had to come back as one of the new igniters did not work (bad cable end) so I offered to knock a $100 off for his trouble.

All the parts where available on Amazon. Super convenient. If you get it and want / need parts let me know and I can send you the links. Be warned that unless you look like your avatar, you will need at least 2 people as it is a really really heavy grill.

Did you have any problems getting homeowners insurance in FL? I have heard it could be a problem or very expensive, but probably still less than the real-estate taxes in NJ';-)

I will NEVER miss records, scratches, pops, jumps, portability, etc. When CD's came out I never looked back. The ONLY thing better about LP's was the nice big artwork IMHO.

Why does the hopper look like it is mounted differently in these 2 photos. One seems much higher than the other. Also there is an option for a roti it seems.
