On shutdown with mine, I lower temp to 300-350 for a bit prior to doing full shutdown. I was told its probably a good safety habit to get into.

Samuel, thats where I got mine a few years ago for my A. Its held up great, just as good as the ones for the B and of course easy to clean. Sure beats the old rust bucket tin ones. Think when I bought it was around $25 or so.
