It’s a functional lid but I would grade it a “C”. That chip can be mitigated but not fixed. The chip is in a very visible spot.

I pulled off the back panel and snaked the line to the outside without any trouble. I put a universal tank scale from a Spirit II on that has tank gauge stickers on both sides

If it tests ok and I don’t see showstoppers I will at least pull off the front panel and the manifold. At that point I should be able to snake the stainless line through to the outside.

I use Grade B or Grade C grease pan assemblies - rusted edges, various defects and use dollar store pan liners. Once they get too ratty I scrap them. I keep at least one pristine assembly in storage since I don’t want to end up in the no longer supported part scenario
