    HM 4.2.4 3D Printed Case

SJWebb, the files are up. The stl for the new top is labelled "no-holes". The supports should still be sufficient because it was already supported on top of the HM PCB and bottom of the pi. The source file is there too if you want to play around and learn CAD.

    HM 4.2.4 3D Printed Case

SJWebb, the files were created in autodesk inventor fusion which is a free beta program and can also be edited in other CAD programs. Removing the LCD and button holes is actually extremely simple and can be done with just a couple of mouse clicks. I can easily do it for you and upload the files...

    Post your live HeaterMeter Cooks

Antti, are you using a thermocouple? Something is up with it. Your temps right now (5:50 am est) are jumping around by 2 to 3 degree increments.

I think something is up with your fire. With the fan running as high as yours is on a bge, the temps should be rocketing. It seems like you may have the grate and/or ceramic holes plugged with small coal chunks which are impeding the air flow.

0.15 mm is plenty small. I usually print at 0.2 to 0.3 mm. I wouldn't get any higher than that or you will get the marshmallow man look.

They were embedded in the .dwg file. I just uploaded the stl files.

You can also adjust the hole size to whatever you want. In the main file there are actually 2 versions for the UDS. The 1.25" that you saw and a 23 mm version that someone else had requested. Most people with WSM like the pet bowl method because it's pretty easy to attach.

The RJ45 port is there but it may be obscured in your view due to the floating support fins that I have built into it. They pop right out after you print it.

I usually turn the servo manually to the end of it's range and then back a few degrees before mounting the valve in the open position. I then adjust the software values to the desired range.

Nice work. Dose solid works have a screw thread tool or did you have to create them individually?

    HM 4.2.4 3D Printed Case

Looking good! I take it the autocad2010 version of the files worked in solidworks.

    3D Printed Barrel Servo/Fan

Figured out the setting IT changed. I saved and uploaded the files as Autocad compatable .dwg. Inventor fusion doesn't have a solidworks option, but that should work.

    3D Printed Barrel Servo/Fan

Antti, sorry I haven't uploaded them yet. I'm at work and I think the IT dept has put a block on me downloading from my ftp server because my computer is popping up a message that I've never seen before about not having permission to download from this location. I'll be home tonight and will...

Thanks Antti. I'll put up solidworks compatible files in a few hours.

    Screws for Heatermetercase

McMaster is where I get everything from. HD usually has a variety of M3 hardware in 2-packs as well. Amazon also has them.
