I wasn't very disciplined in my "testing" it was more ad hoc. I did have the fan attached on one of the hot water pot tests, but, it was short lived (a couple minutes to get from cold to boil) - it has been connected up for days but without having the fan on it - just having it track temps on...

I got you now - I was looking at the ld command to disable the open lid function. I have it set at 6 and 240 in the GUI (and from the CLI)

ld=6,240,0 ?

I'm not sure I know how to set the lid detect trigger to 0%?

Test run today - the pit temp will be below target, fan will kick on - run for several seconds and then the "Lid Open" message appears momentarily and disappears and the fan kicks back on again. Any ideas?

I hooked up the 12V power supply tonight and the unit powers on, it appears to go thru the boot sequence and then beeps, all lights flash off/on and it appears to reboot. Does this continuously. Works fine on the USB power, had it up a couple days no issues. Any ideas?
