Gunna make a big change with my grilling set up.......

You can refill the 1lb ones but they are not approved for transport if refilled.

Can someone explain how to pull out the liner on a Weber Genesis special edition. Read it was bolted on somewhere here but only see one bolt on mine.

You have to disassemble the lid which isn’t that hard with the right tools. The tricky part is removing the lid from the grill. One of both of the hinge pins tends to frozen. If you can get the lid off just remove all the screws and bolts and thermometer and the liner should be free Use a...

Have 4 Webers and find the quality and service to be going down hill.

Weber was probably too lenient with the warranty a few years ago. I don’t blame them for tightening up. Companies like Weber and LL Bean got overwhelmed by warranty hacks. They make a good grill for the money. The styling or design seems to favor looks and manufacture ease over durability.

    NG/LP Valve & Orifice difference Genesis x000

Hi Josh, the LP is on the left in your pictures. NG on the right. After you look at a few the difference becomes obvious

The NG are much bigger. At least twice as big.

Is this Alfresco 30" Grill worth it for a flip?

DCS is a super premium grill like Lynx. That one looks rough. Most of them have iron gas pipe manifolds which can rot. That said, I would get it for $20 and tear it apart to see how it works. Good test grill

Weber E330 Genesis and snow damage?

Ice melt chemicals used on concrete probably affect mild steel grills.

Weber E330 Genesis and snow damage?

Oaks keep most of their leaves into the winter and pines shed in the cold weather. I have 2 grills with cabinets side by side uncovered on a composite deck. Half sun and half shade. Doors closed. Drip and catch pans emptied and cleaned periodically. I have been watching them for 6 years now...

I will just leave this here

If it’s real old from the 1970’s it would be interesting. Other than that, just a fancy Brinkman grill. Probably time for a Weber. Here is an old one that I would like to have

Weber E330 Genesis and snow damage?

I would not remove the doors on a grill in the Northeast unless you are going to convert it to an open cart Oak leaves and pine needles cause big problems. They hold moisture and are acidic. Mice will nest in leaves or mulch. Kills grills and air conditioner condensers

Weber E330 Genesis and snow damage?

We are year round grillers. No covers. I mounted the tank on the outside of the grill to keep from dragging it over the bottom shelf. More space and less scratches. Just keep the cabinet clean and spray paint it occasionally.

I have a LED headlamp that charges with a USB. That allows me to work in the dark. My fashion ship sailed long ago so it’s ok to look like a geek now…

    WeberQ 1200 Cart

There is a good sized air gap between the firebox and a table. The catch pan should reflect heat back toward the firebox. I used a Q2000 on the tailgate of my truck without any issues

    Slow page load times

We had cable tv for at least 55 years which the surrounding towns did not. In order to get that the cable company was given exclusive rights. The utility poles run behind the houses in most places so the work to rework is costly. I had DSL 25 years ago when I lived about a mile from the...

    Slow page load times

We have fancy commercial routers provided by work at home and the top speed package. What is lacking is old infrastructure in my city. The cable company has exclusive rights and no real competition so no one is doing a complete overhaul to fibre

Is this Alfresco 30" Grill worth it for a flip?

I got my heart and my wallet. I have a soft spot for the Webers. Other brands not so much. My scourge is MHP grills. They are built like tanks out of heavy cast aluminum and 304SS. Parts are available and they can be fixed. I can’t give away an MHP for free. No takers at any price so I end up...

I get outages during the day at home. The cable companies do their maintenance during the day in the residential areas
