    What is the right size?

George Curtis is correct. ;) I have the Go Anywhere, the Smokey Joe, OTG 22.5. I find that I use my Smokey Joe more than anything else for one to two person grilling; 22.5 for any entertaining. My Go Anywhere, which taught me how to grill and helped give me my passion mainly sits out...

Cleaning up Craycort Rust on 22.5 grates

Hey Everyone - thanks again. I reseasoned the grates and put them on tonight. I'll BBQ or grill with them soon. I'm so happy they are back to normal. Here's a pic -...

Cleaning up Craycort Rust on 22.5 grates

Thanks Everyone! What I did was scrub with a wire brush. For rust that didn't come off from that, I used a sponge coated with sandpaper. For some of the deeper rust I sprayed vinegar on it and let it sit and then rinsed it off. Then I oiled it up with peanut oil, put it in the oven at 400...

Cleaning up Craycort Rust on 22.5 grates

Dear Everyone - I have a question. I have Craycorts on all my grills, I love them, huge fan. I had to move and now I store my 22.5 OTG outside, vents opened, covered with an unventilated cover. Even though my climate where I live is pretty warm and mild, the Craycorts have rusted a little...

    Is OTG For Me?

Dear Norman - Here's my two cents! I have a Smokey Joe, Weber Go Anywhere and an OTG 22.5. Here's what I have found - The Smokey Joe is great for one or two people - I'm a fancy griller who loves to do a lot of vegetables and then one or two main meats, and it has been fine for that...

    My Next Grill....Advice Please

While I do not own the Jumbo Joe, I do have the Smokey Joe and Go Anywhere. The Smokey Joe was given to me and has turned out to be my favorite grill. But it is small, great for two people. If I were going to grill for four people I'd use the Jumbo Joe. Have fun grilling! Laura

    26.75" Craycort showed up--NOT GOOD (W/Pics)

Did you try them the other way? They look upside down to me. At any rate, Craycort has always been good on their word, as I understand. I have three sets, love all of mine. Best of luck - Laura

Grilling on a wooden deck and storing grills with Craycorts outside

Everyone - thank you for your help! I got the place with the fake astroturf, and the landlady doesn't care if I ruin it. But I bought two oil pans to protect it - one for normal smokey joeing, and two for when I use my 22.5 OTG for grilling and BBQing. I can't wait to move and get grillin'...

Grilling on a wooden deck and storing grills with Craycorts outside

Lew - thank you for this. I'm a bit ignorant of pavers. Do they come in a brick square, like a square foot? I imagine that I will be putting out the pavers and then putting them away when I'm done grilling (not confirmed yet that I have the place). I'll do more research but any tips on this...

Grilling on a wooden deck and storing grills with Craycorts outside

Well, it turns out I did not get the place with the wooden deck (but I would have turned it down if I felt it wasn't safe enough after checking in with you guys here). Grilling is one of my top 2 things I must be able to do do in my new place, and I keep turning down apartments because they...

Grilling on a wooden deck and storing grills with Craycorts outside

Like maybe, in addition to the grill mat, I could put my smokey joe in here. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NNJ7DK/?tag=TVWB-20 I dunno. Just a thought! Laura

Grilling on a wooden deck and storing grills with Craycorts outside

Hello Everyone - it's me, Laura. I've been knocked out of grilling for a bit because I live in crazy San Francisco, and I am being driven out - the house I rent is going up for sale so I must go and rising rents in SF are at a place I currently can't afford. So I'm looking to head towards...

CrayCort or Gourmet Sear Grate ?

I have both. My Weber System sits unused, my Craycorts are on all the time. I bought the Weber system when Craycort went AWOL for a bit. The Weber system is fine, but I prefer the Craycorts. Laura

    Throwdown #11: Shellfish

Okay, here's my favorite grilled Shrimp recipe - garlic lemon majoram - Here are my lovelies, sitting in a marinade for a couple of hours - olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, majoram, kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and tons and tons of garlic. Here they are on the grill - It...

Man, and I just grilled lobster tail tonight! It was amazing delicious. If only I'd known, I'd have taken a pic to enter it. ;) Hopefully more soon - Laura
