    My grill has been connected to the same tank that I got new. I've grilled several times using the same tank. The only thing different that I did was to clean the grill. At that time, the tank was still half full.

    I did soak my knobs in hot water and simple green...that's the same method we clean ortho devices in between machinings / manufacturing phases. Mine is a Silver C after confirming with Weber.

    I used an angle grinder coupled with a cup wire brush... Used oven cleaner on the first run since I tried scrubbing the gunk and it wouldn't budge... Parts replaced were: Flavorizer bars - rcplanebuyer Burners - got it cheap from Bargain Hunt store Grates - Bargain Hunt also Caster wheels...
