    Q 1200 Temps

I have the same gas safe hose and installed on my new Q1200. Can get to 600 no problem for quick preheating before lowering to cook. Haven’t used the small cylinders yet.

Time for some canola oil rub on the new grates and burn in!

    Another Q-thanks to Josh!

We did notice that the grates were difficult to clean today after cooking 2 burgers. I am now planning to season them which I didn’t do- porcelain coated grates you would think would be easy vlean

    Another Q-thanks to Josh!

Now its time to cook the new shiny grates then season them up before use. Will probably season up the 320 ones at the same time. Trying to decide on whetehr to keep the old cart or look for a new one now to match the new 1200.

    Another Q-thanks to Josh!

As I had mentioned in another thread, this morning I took a road trip north after Josh gave me the lead on a Q1200, and it was definitely worth the ride! Brand new still in box with original packaging for $60! Photos below , still can’t believe this find! Assembling and adding my new found Weber...

Great deal Jon! My 320 was $100 and I had to get new grates, but after cleanup works great. Still thinking of moving it through and keep my Silver A. As you mentioned I’ll keep an eye on my shiny new grates but maybe ok out here in the desert dry!

    Weird Coffee maker "issue"

Glad its resolved! I wish Sams would carry cone filters instead of only those baskets. Only need them for a spare HB which hardly gets used

    Weird Coffee maker "issue"

Read where you're returning the 12 cupper. And I fully understand you're tasting preferences. I recently got some columbian beans at Sams and really like the taste of that.

    Weird Coffee maker "issue"

My Cuisinart 14 cup I got from Costco few years ago still does a good cup, and price was right at the time. I never like Keurigs brews as I only had them out of predone cups. Wife got a unit cheap at thrift shop along with a reusable pod so I don't have that waste. When I tamp the coffee down...

    Nobody Using Q Grills?

I kept the regulator on and use a hose on my little Q100, works fine but just turn it on slow as Bruce advised. I can see the advantage of having a smaller 5 though.

    TVWBB Upper Midwest "Mini-Meet"

Sounds like a great time! And Bruce' technique on dying gets me thinking again about doing it, although painting sounds less intimidating. Larry, how did you decide on using the Big Z vs Members Mark?

Stainless side tables for Weber Qs

looks like it could be much stronger than the originals, but wonder how it will hold up being secured to the frame? See they also have them for the 320/3200 series.
