Genesis Silver A grease pan source

Samuel, thats where I got mine a few years ago for my A. Its held up great, just as good as the ones for the B and of course easy to clean. Sure beats the old rust bucket tin ones. Think when I bought it was around $25 or so.

Pit Boss Phoenix Kettle: Why isn't Weber making one?

Tom Horsman used one from Outfitters Edge on the Bullseye a year ago, but that one is $135. His newer offering seems like a better deal; it might also allow a better end result for searing burgers, steaks and chops on the Pitboss. It has top end temp limits that mine doesn't, but perhaps steel...

Bringing New Life to an Old "Platypus"

I spotted this yesterday and told Josh this was exactly how I envisioned restoring one if I ever came across one! Amazing it popped up-maybe it's trying to tell me something! Wondered if that paint was the hammered metal type/color.

Pit Boss Phoenix Kettle: Why isn't Weber making one?

Jon, I knew the Grill Grates would help it out! Surprised the ci grate didn't boost the temps more for you though. That Phoenix looks great!

All you need instant read thermometer for $14.99

Thats pretty cheap! Amazing how many companies steal tech and duplicate it, cheap Chinese labor. I've been very happy with the Lightning Larry alerted us all to a few years ago which was pretty cheap. 6.39 is crazy! I would also have to agree with our old pal Rich that Thermoworks is overrated...

    Thanx from Colorado!!

Welcome Jay! I escaped Ma several years ago too. Have a neighbor here who relocated from your area and still speaks fondly of it. Interestingly enough I also had a background in auto, but as a Ford warranty specialist. Like you, my go to grill is a Weber 1200, although my backup is a 2002...

    - Bruce's and Jon's Kansas City BBQ Adventure!

I'm jealous of you guys too! Great to see you both in action-and Dave-what a visit there! His grill flips and renews are legendary. All true artisans . Loved the matching tee shirts on some visits too. And Jon is such a great story teller, the way he lays out the pics and matches the narrative-I...

    NEW Weber Performer Premium

Mark, if I hadn't recently downsized, having sold a lightly used base Performer, I'd be ALL over this! And in the NW valley! I do miss the charcoal flavor, but only have room now for perhaps a CharQ-if I get lucky and find one. A fantastic deal!
