Ordered a good spatula & long tongs. I need a good brush. No wires I've come to learn. Plastic bristles any good? Wooden paddle scrapper? This grill will be using both stainless and cast iron grates. I have to look into the thermometers and do some more research.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up getting another genesis 3000. Took it apart yesterday. Everything seems solid on this one. Don’t like the Ralph’s lid. Will be replacing it with my other red one. How hard is it to find a grey genesis lid? Which thermometer is best for the one circular one...

Are these items too rusty? Excuse my ignorance this is my first time rehabbing a grill. Also is it better to sandblast the firebox or use carbon off?

I had a local I agree. I really liked the wide slats on this weber. This is the first grill I ever rehab. My friend was kind enough to make me Stainless flavor bars and grill grates. Need to replace the thermometer. Which is the best replacement?

I got this bbq back in dec 19. Barely getting time to rehab this. I disassembled when I purchased it. Now I’m going through it so I could start making a list of what I need to replace etc.
