Thanks Mike! Before I take a grinding wheel to the tank holder I am trying to figure out why gas is leaking big time from under the tank valve. Gas is gushing out from under the tank valve as soon as I open it. Any suggestions? Here is my connection.
What type of adapter do you recommend to get to attach on a new 5 lb Flame King tank shown below to connect to a quick connector that is threaded into the regulator and hose?

I have had the same problem before and it was the knob stripped out. To test this, simply remove the plastic knob and turn the valve with pliers and try to start it with either the igniter button or a stick lighter.
Wind chill was +3 degrees yesterday morning, which made it more challenging to have all Weber WSM’s get up to temp, but they did and held temps. We didn’t do very well, but had a lot of fun as always. Here are the turn ins:
