I saw something today that will BLOW YOUR MIND!

The PK360 has a plug you can remove. Makes it easy to clean out the ash. Just hang a bucket underneath, sweep the ashes in the hole. If it didn't have the plug/hole, it would be a pretty big pain....guess using a shop-vac would be the way to go. The Weber one-touch blades do make it easy, but...

Looks like I overtightened my handle nut. Chipped paint :X

On my personal grills I actually just hand tighten those nuts on the lid handle. Every now and then I have to re-tighten, but I'd rather do that than have it chip.

Vortex in the 26 Kettle ?

I use my medium vortex on the 26". When I've got the grate loaded up with a ton of wings I have to add more charcoal during the cook. First time I did this I was shocked that my charcoal ran out.....takes a lot of coal to heat up the big 26". If you are doing a normal amount of wings then it...

My C&B Slate Blue is here, finally

Correct, the new ones they do not stamp the serial number on the vent like they do the kettles. I only mentioned it being on the back because I thought you were saying you couldn't locate the serial number on your new Performer.

My C&B Slate Blue is here, finally

Weber doesn't stamp the date code on vents of Performers. The serial # is on a sticker on the back panel.

I saw something today that will BLOW YOUR MIND!

Chris, Is this it? Note from Moderator: On 9/28, I received an email from Tom Fuller, Weber's Global Category Director, Charcoal Grills, requesting that I take down the two images in this post showing 70th anniversary kettle concepts. These restricted, confidential images found their way into...

    Killagrilla grates

Just a brain fart on my end. Mixed up the Go Anywhere with the JJ. I've got the Go Anywhere and had the grate come in 2 pieces so it would back away easier....also nice for piling up a minion on one side for indirect.

    Killagrilla grates

Did you have him send the JJ grate in 2 pieces? Or just 1 full one?

Hahaha, 11 pages of waiting....waiting....waiting.... I'm going to guess it's another limited edition color run, similar to what they did with the Glen Blue 26"ers....

    Excellent Weber Customer Service

Good to hear they are still taking care of the customers! I was worried things would change since they went public....still think that will happen over time, unfortunately. I had a warranty replacement earlier this year for a lid on a copper kettle, they sent me a copper bowl. I reached out...
