I finally got around to doing some steaks on my refurbed Genesis since the in-laws came over for dinner. I couldn't believe how much better the Genesis did on the steaks compared to my older non Weber grills.

Also, the first page of the manual also says "Specialty Dealer LP". I wonder if having a specialty dealer model is a way to justify a higher price compared to big box stores, and maybe to prevent price matching too.

I've seen that one pop up several times this summer at the same price, so I don't think it's accidental. It's hard to imagine someone really believing a 15 year old grill would be worth that much. Maybe he knows it's high but he's just waiting for an underinformed buyer to come along.
